Hi! I’m Karen Vanderpool-Haerle. I currently design and develop non-gaming experiences for augmented reality and virtual reality for medical, scientific, and wellness applications. I strive to create immersive experiences to remove physical barriers for individuals unable to explore the physical world and for those seeking a peaceful, fun, virtual experience.

I have an MA in Biomedical Communications/Medical Illustration. I have had the honor to work with some of the most talented individuals and teams in the world. I am a lifelong learner. I have 3 certifications in XR design and development from Circuit Stream. I consistently update my skills in XR at every possible junction.

I create art in the virtual world as well as the physical world and strive to bring those worlds together in the mixed reality space. My preferred mediums are oil, pastel, and Openbrush or Tiltbrush. I am an avid explorer of virtual and physical worlds.
